Rudge Whitworth - Rapid

"The 250 with the 350 performance" thats how Rudge introduced their new model in 1936. A nice lively bike to ride, with great brakes (for that period). Is an older restauration in good condition, rides and runs very well. Has run the rally Liege-Nancy-Liege a few times and is know in the Dutch VMC for a long time. The famous "coupled brakesystem" is disconnected on this Rapid, but all the parts are there. The cover of the gearbox is not fitted at the moment, but is there too. Rather seldom bike off the well known Rudge brand. With Dutch registration.
